I’ve been working in frontend development since 2006, with a focus on WordPress since 2018.
I mostly work with web agencies as a white-label technical partner: design-to-code, WordPress development, customisation and frontend optimisation.
I use modern tools and technologies and choose the right approach for each project: Bricks, Elementor, Gutenberg, custom development and AI-assisted workflows.
Tools keep changing. The expertise to use them properly remains essential.
Questions about AI in WordPress development
Can AI build a WordPress website on its own?
No. AI generates code, templates and fixes quickly, but it does not know the project, the client or the constraints of the existing site. Someone has to choose the approach, check the output and integrate it into a real WordPress build. On my projects, that part stays with me.
Is AI-generated code ready for production?
Not automatically. I review and test every piece of generated code before it reaches staging, and I rewrite it when it is wrong or more complicated than it needs to be. The responsibility for what I deliver stays mine.
Does AI make the project cheaper for the agency?
It reduces the hours many development tasks take. When I bill by the hour, the time saved is a cost saved for the agency. I cannot promise a fixed percentage, because it depends on the type of work, but you see it in the estimate before work starts.
So do you offer AI services?
No. AI is part of how I work, not what I sell. What I offer agencies is WordPress development: builds from approved designs, customisation, plugins and frontend optimisation.
